Fuel Recovery Charge Adjustment & CP Rail Storage Policy Storage Change (French)

Dear Valued Customer,

Major Trans-Pacific shipping lines of the Canada Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (CTSA), wish to advise their customers that the Fuel Recovery Charge will be adjusted to the following levels for the 3rd quarter of 2006.

CTSA is a group of 11 ocean and Intermodal transportation companies serving the trade from Asia to Canada.

EFFECTIVE August 1st, 2006
US $ 445.00 per 20ft container
US $ 590.00 per 40ft container
US $ 665.00 per 40ft high cube container
US $ 745.00 per 45ft container
US $ 13.00 W/M

The members will continue to monitor fuel prices and will notify their customers of any further adjustments.

EFFECTIVE August 15, 2006,
CP Rail will be instituting changes in their storage policy.

Applicable at the following Canadian Terminals:
Toronto (Vaughan), Montreal (Lachine), Calgary & Edmonton

Free Time on standard dry containers will be reduced from 3 days to 2 days at the above terminals (excluding Sunday and Legal Holidays). Saturday will no longer be included in calculating Free Time at these terminals. These provisions apply on both Dry and Perishable cargo.

After expiration of free time, Sunday and legal holidays are chargeable days.

Upon expiry of free time, the storage charges at the above terminals are:
$ 175.00 per container per day for the first 3 days
$ 225.00 per container per day thereafter
