![]() Press Releases | New Canadian Customs Regulations Issue 502, December 8, 2005 On December 12, 2005 new rules in Canada take effect requiring all air import manifest information be electronically transmitted to Canadian Customs in advance of the aircraft’s arrival. ACI is part of the initiative taken by Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) to identify threats to health, safety and security prior to the arrival of air cargo and conveyances in Canada. And DHL Danzas Air & Ocean is ready! DHL Danzas Air & Ocean has completed testing and received certification from CBSA for the electronic transfer of housebill (supplementary) data. DHL Danzas Air & Ocean will go live on December 12 with a seamless and streamlined electronic solution to dramatically expedite the process of transferring data and clearing shipments into Canada.
