International Air Freight Surcharge Decrease Notification Effective December 1, 2005

Issue 499, November 28, 2005

Due to the steady downturn in the price of crude oil, our carrier partners providing international services have notified us that they will again decrease their fuel surcharge, in line with their published index notification system. As a result, DHL Danzas Air & Ocean is pleased to pass on a reduction in our Freight Surcharge (FSC) to take effect on December 1, 2005.

The new USA Fuel Surcharge will apply to all International air freight shipments from the USA and it will decrease by USD 0.05 USD/kg to USD 0.50/kg, with no change to the minimum charge. On import shipments the charge will be the local currency equivalent and subject to specific governmental regulations.

At this time, there will be no change to our Domestic FSC. For our Domestic Air Services, Next Flight Out, Next Day AM, Next Day, Second Day and Three Day Services, the FSC will remain at USD 0.25/lb, with the minimum of USD 6.00. The FSC for Domestic Surface shipments will remain USD 0.07/lb, with the minimum of USD 6.00.

For Canadian International and Transborder shipments the Fuel Surcharge is decreasing to CAD 0.61/kg with the minimum remaining at CAD 5.00.

If you require additional information or clarification, please contact your local DHL Danzas Air & Ocean representative. Your continued support is very much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Brian Lindholm
