With reference to our previous correspondence on the imposition of a Temporary Rate Adjustment from Asian origins to the USA, please note this TRA is being eliminated with immediate effect. Market conditions and demand for Air Freight capacity have softened considerably from the exceptionally strong peak at the end of Q1/2004.

Current forecasts indicate the last half of this year will again see strong demand from Asia to North America. DHL Danzas Air & Ocean is taking specific actions to protect our Customers from the full effects of this anticipated increase in demand for Air Freight capacity, which we will share with you over the coming weeks. In the meantime, we encourage you to share your specific requirements for Q3/Q4 2004 with your DHL Danzas Air & Ocean representative. Our Team will work closely with you to ensure your needs are protected.
