Delay in Implementation Air AMS to USA

Issue 430, February 26, 2004
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has advised that the implementation of Air AMS for inbound shipments to the United States scheduled for 4th March 2004 will be delayed. They have suggested monitoring of the Federal Register for further information and a revised timeline.

CBP has posted this information to its web site (http://www.cbp.gov) in a document listing a set of 40 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), dated 12th February 2004.
