TRA Reductions

Issue 378, November 22, 2002

We are very pleased to announce reductions and, in some cases, eliminations of our temporary rate adjustments (TRA) for airfreight traffics from Asia into North America. Below please find the respective reductions per country of origin, as well as the effective dates.

Over the last 40+ days, since the original announcement of the TRA's on October 10, 2002, the eastbound transpacific airfreight lanes have been extremely volatile. Your Danzas AEI Intercontinental operations, Customer service, and executive staff, have all worked very hard to implement creative solutions in order to move as much freight as possible during this critical time. Within two days, we were able to develop and execute "sea-air" programs from several Asian origins, either via Dubai or Hawaii, into the USA mainland. We contracted over 70 charter flights from various Asian origins into North America and have done our very best in trying to keep you well informed in a market, which at times, was changing by the hour. We are very proud of our staff on both sides of the Pacific for their relentless efforts in maintaining quality operations throughout this period!

Most sincerely,

Danzas AEI Intercontinental
