A Message To Our Customers - New Updates

Issue 323, September 28, 2001
The following is the latest update on airline surcharges, airline cargo facility closings, flight schedule changes and backlogs as of Friday, September 28, 2001:

Danzas AEI Intercontinental has been notified that various airlines will impose security-related surcharges on international traffic at origin points. The surcharges will take effect from October 1 to October 15, depending on the specific carrier.

At this point, we have not determined the manner in which we will handle and pass on these extraordinary charges. Please know that Danzas AEI will do whatever we can to mitigate the impact of these proposed surcharges. Details will be provided on these surcharges in an upcoming communiqu鮦lt;P> 24 Security Hold: Egypt Air, Turkish and United Airlines. Virgin is x-raying all transfer freight at London Heathrow that will involve further air movement.
