As we are now operating at near-normal levels, we will be discontinuing our daily emergency communications regarding post-attack events impacting the United States and Canada. We hope that we have been useful in providing you with timely and accurate information in the wake of this terrible tragedy. Thank you for your support.
We will, of course, continue to provide updates on significant events impacting our customers supply chains as and when required.
Air Exports:
More and more carriers are announcing reductions in staff and capacity in large volumes.
American Airlines continues to state that they are unable to take traffic beyond a US gateway point of entry.
The 48-hour security hold instituted by United Airlines starts at the point of pickup by an IAC (Indirect Air Carrier), like Danzas AEI.
Delta has cancelled flights indefinitely to Tel Aviv, Dubai, Cairo, Istanbul and Athens.
Domestic Transportation:
We are achieving full air and ground operational and schedule integrity throughout our domestic network.
Ocean Freight:
Our ocean freight services continue to run smoothly at all ports-of-entry, including the port of New York and New Jersey.
Customs Clearance:
We are operating at normal levels for customs clearances at all ports of entry with the exception of the Northern border. Delays experienced at the Northern Border range from minor to two-hours.
