U.S. Air Exports:
The Danzas AEI Intercontinental export schedule is back to normal with the understanding that Danzas AEI follows the individual airline and FAA guidelines of Known and Unknown Shippers.
British Airways: Late yesterday (9/18), we were notified that any shipments that are moved by air from London will be x-rayed. This means that any flights that transit London by air to another final destination will be x-rayed. This is not required for flights terminating in London or shipments that will be trucked to a final destination.
Canada Air Exports:
American Airlines will now allow Danzas AEI to transport out of Canada to Latin America via Miami with their interline all-cargo partners.
Lan Chile and Varig are allowing us to truck to the US and to connect with their passenger aircraft to Latin America.
US Air, Northwest and United accept Canadian cargo for international destinations for KNOWN shippers.
Asia Pacific Air Exports:
All backlogs in Asian airports are expected to be cleared up in the next couple of days with the exception of Hong Kong and Taiwan.
UK Air Update:
On the 18th of September, Danzas AEI Intercontinental's UK operations received new instructions from the British Government regarding x-ray procedures with immediate effect.
Airlines can accept known shippers to non-North Atlantic destinations,
e.g.: US, CA, Alaska.
All cargo to US/CA/Alaska or entering US airspace will be subject to full x-ray screening by approved agent (Danzas AEI Intercontinental).
This is resulting in defined security fees.
Carrier changes in Europe:
Virgin Atlantic has announced their intended cancellation on services to - Toronto, Chicago, Athens, Lagos and reduced frequency to Los Angeles.
American Airlines advised that they would reduce their network by 20%. ? British Airways is still awaiting details of their network reduction.
KLM is cancelling service between Amsterdam to Atlanta effective October 1st.
