A Message To Our Customers
Issue 317, September 16, 2001 It is important to note that the carriers are only accepting shipments from IAC's (Indirect Air Carriers), that is, shippers who have been documented and approved as "Known Shippers". This includes Danzas AEI. The carriers will not accept any shipments from Unknown Shippers of any kind. Security remains our top priority at this time, and all FAA regulations governing the acceptance and carriage of air cargo are continuing to be vigorously enforced by our Employees. It is anticipated that additional, and more stringent, security regulations will be introduced in the near future by the FAA, as well as other international aviation authorities in other countries. As an update, Danzas AEI Intercontinental has been moving air shipments in quantity over the weekend to and from the United States using all-cargo aircraft. The backlogs of shipments destined to the USA at many international locations are being significantly reduced, as are export shipments at our major USA Gateways. It appears at this time that importers and exporters can expect to see the current situation normalizing to at least some extent over the next week, based on the news being received today. Danzas AEI Intercontinental will continue to monitor this situation closely, and will update you as further information is made available. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our Customers during this past, very difficult, week.
Please note that due to the complex nature of the subject matter, Danzas AEI cannot be responsible for actions taken by the reader in reliance on the information contained herein without prior consultation with Danzas AEI.
