International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Negotiations in Los Angeles

Issue 021, July 23, 2007

This is just to inform you that the negotiations between the ILWU’s clerical union and their Los Angeles/Long Beach employers continued over the weekend without reaching a conclusion. Discussions will resume on Tuesday July 24. The ILWU longshore labor has committed to honor potential picket lines, which may potentially affect one or more marine terminals in the Los Angeles/Long Beach port complex.

We will keep you informed of developments as they occur.
