Revised TSA Requirements

Issue 009, March 12, 2007

Last week DHL Global Forwarding sent out an announcement advising that new TSA requirements had been issued that would:

require us to notify you that all air cargo shipments were subject to inspection

require us to see and record the number of a Government issued photo ID from the shipper prior to acceptance of an air cargo shipment.

We are pleased to advise you that the TSA has offered the Forwarders an avenue to avoid the Requirement Number 2.

Therefore, DHL Global Forwarding will NOT require the shipper to show us a Government issued photo ID prior to picking up, or receiving your airfreight shipments.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we adjust our processes in full compliance of these new regulations.

Sincerely,
Brian Lindholm
Executive Vice President and Country Head - USA
