DHL Relationship Improves Efficiencies in Managing Global Clinical Trials

PLANTATION, Fla. – January 09, 2007 / DHL, the world leading express delivery and logistics company, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, a division of Wyeth (NYSE: WYE), today announced a multi-year strategic agreement for the logistics coordination of Wyeth's global clinical trial materials distribution. This new agreement marks the first time a single lead logistics provider has been awarded the responsibility for oversight of clinical trial logistics material shipments and processes throughout multiple distribution channels worldwide.

Together, Wyeth and DHL will create a closed-loop clinical trial materials supply chain to streamline track and trace capabilities, financial and performance indicators and operational process flows. The initial scope of the agreement includes global distribution by DHL of clinical materials and a framework for warehousing solutions.
