DHL RECEIVES QUEST FOR QUALITY AWARD

DHL Global Forwarding is Recognized for its Customer Service; Equipment and Operations

Plantation, Fla. (August 28, 2006) - DHL Global Forwarding, part of the logistics division of DHL, said today that Logistics Management magazine has awarded it with the publication's 2006 "Quest for Quality" award in the category of freight forwarding.

In the five areas rated by respondents—qualified buyers of eight categories of transportation and logistics services—DHL Global Forwarding scored highest above the survey average in "customer service," and "equipment and operations." Of the 24 forwarders that were on the original ballot, DHL Global Forwarding had the second highest number of respondents use its services.

In its 23rd year, the Quest for Quality award is widely regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as an important measure of customer satisfaction and customer excellence. Each year, Logistics Management and Reed Research Group, part of Logistics Management's parent company, surveyed readers to obtain their feedback on such provider attributes as on-time performance, information technology, customer service, equipments and operations, and overall value. This year's survey generated 6,300 responses.
