Executives from DHL to Share International Shipping and Logistics Expertise at Premier Fashion Industry Show

Plantation, Fla. (August 25, 2005) - DHL, the world's leading express delivery and logistics company, today announced it has been named the Official Logistics Partner of the ASAP Global Sourcing Show, which takes place August 28-31 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Venetian Hotel. The leader in international shipping and logistics solutions, DHL will join other industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the apparel industry.

DHL executives in attendance will include Hans Hickler, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Implementation for DHL Express in the United States; Lindsay Birley, Senior Vice President International Products and Services for DHL Express; and John Lewis, Director, Business Development, Trans Pacific Logistics, for DHL Danzas Air & Ocean.

Mr. Lewis will moderate a panel discussion titled "From Just in Time to Just in Case," focused on the changing dynamics of world trade, the current regulatory environment, and important transportation and supply chain issues, including improving cycle times, operational performance and visibility. "With security and verification issues on the forefront, distribution solutions will continue to become more complex. This discussion will help apparel companies remain competitive by understanding current trends and issues that are of most urgency in the industry," said Mr. Lewis.

As the first international express delivery company, DHL has maintained its leadership in the global delivery market over the course of 35 years through the continuous expansion of its transportation network, the enhancement of its portfolio of international shipping services, and superior customer service to meet the needs of a growing, global customer base.

In support of trade between the U.S. and China, a major market for apparel sourcing, DHL recently introduced new direct overnight express service between Shanghai and the U.S.

"Global shipping leader DHL is the ideal partner for the ASAP Show," said Frank Yuan, President of the ASAP Global Sourcing Show.
