LifeConEx Chooses Envirotainer to Create More Value for Shippers of Life Sciences Products

Basel, Switzerland (June 1, 2005) - LifeConEx, the joint venture company launched by DHL Danzas Air & Ocean and Lufthansa Cargo, has selected Envirotainer as a preferred provider for active temperature controlled air containers. LifeConEx will use Envirotainer containers to support its integrated end-to-end temperature-controlled transportation solutions for the Life Sciences industry.

LifeConEx represents the combined life sciences competence of both DHL Danzas Air & Ocean and Lufthansa Cargo. Its mission is to offer a new level of service standards and quality to companies in the Life Sciences industry that integrates logistics solutions for their worldwide shipments.

DHL Danzas Air & Ocean has had a close working relationship with Envirotainer since it developed the first active temperature-controlled air cargo container 10 years ago. Now the relationship with Envirotainer is expanding to the new company LifeConEx.
