Partnership of Danzas and SPAN International creates a new global standard in Supply Chain Management

Basel, Switzerland (October 22, 2002) -- Danzas, the logistics pillar of Deutsche Post World Net, and SPAN International have signed a cooperation agreement. This strategic alliance guarantees a full scope of services for Supply Chain Management in the electronics and automotive industries through one provider offering its customers tailored, integrated solutions.

Both Danzas and SPAN International are renowned for their depth of industry competence in the electronics sector. SPAN's Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) allows an efficient and effective control of "Inbound" logistics through the interfacing of multiple complex supplier matrixes with the downstream manufacturer. VMI ensures the correct alignment of inventory and time. Danzas's dedication to electronics customers assures the necessary capabilities and global coverage to serve the community of these industries.
