Brian Lindholm named COO North America of Danzas AEI Intercontinental
DARIEN, CT USA (November 27, 2000) --
Danzas AEI Intercontinental said today it
has named Brian E. Lindholm, a 20-year veteran of the logistics industry, to
the post of executive vice president and chief operating officer of the
company's North America region.
Lindholm will oversee all operations in the region, which covers the United
States and Canada. In the interim, he will continue in his current role as
vice president of the U.S. central division. Lindholm will be based in
Darien, CT reporting to Hans Toggweiler, president and CEO, North America.
"Brian exemplifies the depth and caliber of talent that resides throughout the
Danzas AEI Intercontinental organization," Toggweiler said. "He is a seasoned,
proven leader, highly knowledgeable, innovative and customer-focused. Brian's
qualities will serve him well in his new position, and will benefit Danzas AEI
Intercontinental as well as our customers."
Lindholm began his logistics career in 1981 with the former Pandair Freight
Inc. After Air Express International (AEI) acquired Pandair in 1987, Lindholm
was named an AEI U.S. district manager based in Chicago. He was promoted to
regional manager, Midwest region in February 1994. In September 1998, he was
named vice president of AEI's U.S. western division. Following the
announcement by Deutsche Post AG to acquire AEI and merge the company into
Danzas Intercontinental in November 1999, Lindholm was named vice president,
central division of Danzas AEI Intercontinental, North America.
Lindholm holds a BBA from Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York, and a
M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, New Jersey.
