DHL Recognized for Service Excellence, Quality Commitment in 21st Annual 'Quest for Quality' Study

High Marks in Freight Forwarder and Third-Party Logistics Categories

Plantation, FL (August 1, 2004) -- DHL, the world's leading global express delivery and logistics company, is proud to be honored for service performance by more than 2,400 respondents participating in the 21st annual "Quest for Quality" study sponsored by Logistics Management Magazine in 2004.

In the Freight Forwarder segment, DHL Danzas Air & Ocean was recognized for scoring high marks in all five service categories that respondents were asked to vote on: On-time Performance; Value; Information Technology; Customer Service and Equipment & Operations.

In the Third-Party Logistics segment, DHL was recognized with solid marks from the Study's respondents. The five categories in the 3PL segment are: Carrier Selection/Negotiation; Order Fulfillment; Transportation/Distribution; Inventory Management and Logistics Information System.
